Ingredients

At Floof, we know that dogs are important members of the family and deserve the best possible care. Because their skin is three times thinner and more sensitive than ours, it's crucial to use only the most gentle, safe, and effective ingredients in our grooming products. Our team of experts, including our vet dermatologist and skin care chemists, carefully select each ingredient to ensure that our formulas promote skin health without causing any harm or discomfort.

Nourishing Dog Shampoo

Water

Water is included in all of our products because it serves as a solvent and a carrier for all of our ingredients. By adding water to our formulas, all of our ingredients can be evenly dispersed and delivered to the fur or skin. Water also dilutes the ingredients which reduces the concentration, making them gentler. In addition, diluting ingredients can help to improve their spreadability and absorption into the skin or fur. When applied in their pure form, some ingredients may be too thick, sticky, or difficult to spread evenly. By diluting them with water or other solvents, they can be made more fluid and easier to apply.
